I just helped to book my grandparents on a Thanksgiving cruise on the Oosterdam. They mentioned it was a beautiful ship as well. I feel that Mark will achieve the end of illiteracy as well. He has the platform, friends and people surrounding him to make it happen! Where I met him was at the bookwise conference in SLC. He is very passionate with what he does and really made an impact on my life (as did some of the other authors and speakers). All the people I met on the ship are wonderful. I did catch Mark Victor Hansen the day before (on day 6) and I like his style. He is a big thinker. He talked about wanting to end illiteracy. That's a lofty goal and one I am sure he will achieve. He is a great guy. A friend of mine who you saw on this picture had a chance to talk to him and has nothing but good things to say about him. It is definitely a big plus that Oosterdam (the ship) is one of the finest one around. According to some people, Holland America Cruise Line is like Hyatt of the cruise.
