Yes, indeed. Criticism of one's opinion should only be welcomed with open arms. But do you feel there was a constructive, backed by facts (as per your stated standard), criticism of the voiced opinion?

In any case, my opinion was voiced, so was the dislike of how it was received. As the race for the presidency goes on, I have a sense we'll have a chance to engage in a well-mannered, fact-based discussion on candidates' views on the important issues. Till next time...

Criticism of one's opinion doesn't constitute a disrespect or a personal attack.

To administrator/author:

Please, be respectful of opinion of others. It is completely fair to request your readers to back their statements with facts as long as you do that yourself. My opinion is just as valid as yours, and there is no need for attacks on my "so-called opinions." If you don't like people posting opinions that differ from yours, remove the functionality and ability to do so.

Little patience and some manners will go a long way.

Thank you.

McCain doesn't support Israel? And Obama against free-trade? It helps when people learn about facts before presenting their so-called "opinions". Back it up with facts and then you can make an argument.

Go McCain!!!!!

I'll never be able to vote for a candidate who openly supports Israel (the biggest problem in the Middle East) and is against free-trade (which indicates he pursues short-term benefits and does not have long-term vision - read: proper politician).
