The 2007 Joefiro.com Christmas Donation Drive is officially over. It was a resounding success. What started as a small idea to celebrate Christmas with children at an orphanage has become a collaboration of over 100 donors and volunteers across 4 countries in 4 continents to help out the less-fortunate in Indonesia. In the process, we have touched the life of more than 750 people (perhaps more than 1,000 taking into account their family members).
In all, we raised 59.1 millions Rupiah (US$ 6,423.91). We spent a total of Rp 59,358,341 including Rp 1,000,000 I gave to an employee of PT. PPI, whose mum is suffering from a cancer, for medical expenses.
